What we keep,
and what we don’t.
MG’s Craftvilla is a small studio, not a data business. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to anything you send us through this website.

Who we are
MG’s Craftvilla is a hand-painted apparel studio run by Madhvi Garg at Sector 16, Faridabad, Haryana, India. For anything on this page, write to mgscraftvilla@gmail.com or WhatsApp +91 97178 84400.
What we collect
Only what you type into one of the two forms on this site. Nothing is gathered in the background.
- Workshop waitlist. Your name, email address and phone number.
- Commission enquiry. Your email address, phone number, what you would like painted, your colour story, the note you write us, and a reference image or PDF if you choose to attach one.
You can browse every page of this site without giving us anything at all.
What we don’t do
- This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. That is why you have not been asked to dismiss a cookie banner.
- There is no advertising tracking: no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session recording, nothing that follows you to other websites. We do use a privacy-first visitor counter, described below.
- We do not build profiles, and we never sell, rent or trade your details.
- No payments are taken on this website, so we never see card or bank details.
Why we collect it, and what we do with it
Purely to reply to you and to run the thing you asked about: to tell you when the next Coffee with Canvas date opens, or to discuss a commission. We will not add you to a marketing list you didn’t ask for.
Where it is kept
When you submit a form, the details are written to a private Google Sheet and emailed to the studio’s inbox. Any file you attach is saved to a private Google Drive folder. All of it sits inside the studio’s own Google account (mgscraftvilla@gmail.com) and is readable only by Madhvi. Google processes and stores this data on our behalf under its own terms.
The website itself is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs, including visitors’ IP addresses, for security and diagnostics.
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Because your browser fetches them directly, Google receives your IP address when a page loads. If you would prefer that not to happen, we can serve the fonts from our own server instead. Just ask.
How we count visitors
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It was chosen because it is the least invasive option we could find: it sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and does not fingerprint your device or follow you to other sites.
What it records is a count, not a person: the page visited, the site you arrived from, your country, and roughly what browser and device you used. Cloudflare does not build a profile of you, and neither do we. We cannot tell who any individual visitor is, and we cannot connect a visit to an enquiry you later send.
Links that take you elsewhere
Some buttons open WhatsApp or Google Maps. Once you follow one, you are on their service and their privacy terms apply, not ours.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. Waitlist entries are kept until you ask to come off the list, or until you tell us you are no longer interested. Ask us to delete something sooner and we will.
Photographs from workshops
Some photographs on this site were taken during Coffee with Canvas sessions and show the people who came. If you are in one and would rather not be, write to us and we will take it down. No explanation needed.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can ask to be removed from the waitlist at any time. Email mgscraftvilla@gmail.com and we will act on it, normally within a few days, and in any case within thirty.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first so we can put it right. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may also raise the matter with the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This website is meant for adults. Children are very welcome at the studio, but please have a parent or guardian make the booking and send the enquiry.
Changes
If what we do with your information changes, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
